School Programme
How does it Work?
Every teacher becomes a Moving Kids facilitator to her own classroom.
During the first circle we have easy and creative activities, songs and rhymes where we lay a solid foundation in knowing the numbers, shapes, easy patterns and counting
(5 activities per week)
We introduce a new concept each week. After the initial concept lesson – we have 5 station activities per week where the children can work on a rotation basis. The teacher also receives an easy-to-follow assessment template to assess each child informally. This can be use in collaboration with formal testing to give an accurate account of each child’s ability.
There are 4 Theme Math activities per week. These activities combine all concepts of Maths and number sense and is a great way to enforce our weekly concepts to help with the needed building blocks for Maths later on.
One activity per week. Recommended on a Friday. This is a problem-based learning where children use Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics to solve a problem. This is an excellent activity that benefit their critical thinking, creativity, social and emotional development as well as communicational skills.

Each Child receives
- Moving Kids Math book with the weekly concepts listed as well as information regarding the concept (what they need to know) for parents to enforce each concept at home
- Parent’s newsletter: Maths in and around the house. Let’s – get – them – counting Activities and motivational quotes…Because it takes a village to raise a child!
- Medallion and certificate at the end of the year.
- Optional (t-shirts, caps and other merchandise)
